As a fan, it is sad that Paul will most likely be out for the game. Having said that it is important that the team doesn't allow that to effect their effort or focus and I'm all about us stacking up W. Last year we swept them in spite of strong games by Paul.

We should spank those bugs but I expect a emotional let down after a huge win on the road. Hopefully the Hawks dont get complacent.

I'm worried about us coming out really flat and the Hornets coming out with something to prove. Hopefully we can just pull off a "talent win" at home tonight.

The line opened up at 8 and now it's 12.5.

i think all fans are worried that the Hawks are going to come into the game and think that the Hornets are going to lay down and play dead, because of the Celtics win and Paul injury.

i hope the starters come into this game with alot of respect for the Hornets, blow them out early and give Teague and Othello alot of minutes at the end of the game......... but i think we all wouldn't be surpised if the Hawks kept the game close cause of lack of focus and possibly lose like in the Bobcats game.

^I like that you brought up the Bobcats game. The Hawks unfortunately have a history, and a good feeling to lose in these games … in these so called easy games.

I expect a win, since this New Orleans team isn’t in a good form, and they didn’t find their natural rhythm, but I think this might be a close one.

I'm a little mad that I didn't make a play on the over 196. This is looking like it's going to be one of those 113-98 type of games.

Has Marvin ever got an and 1? He seems to get contact and go flailing never completing the 3 pt play.

The Hawks are going to win and most likely cover. It still would have been nice to see them come out and show some interest on defense vs an inferior team for once though.

Hard to maintain the intensity after jumping to that big lead. Those 2 outlets from Josh to Joe were excellent. Capped offby great passes by Joe for easy dunks.

I really like the way the Hawks have been rebounding lately. JJ's rebounding has always been weak but he is averaging 6 rebounds per game. he averaged 4.4 last season.

Marvin... ugh

It seems like everyone on the Hawks has gone out their way to be unselfish and make the extra pass which has led to a few bad turnovers but alot of beautiful passes as well.

Have the hawks had one good three point shooting game this year?

Other than Crawford the bench has really sucked.

There's a new dynamic now and Marvelous doesn't fit into it. Not saying he can't, but he doesn't right now. Marvin's got to find a way for his game to work within the new chemistry.

Wait a minute, who is this Randolph Morris? I don't think I've seen this from him.

Marvin and Teague had rough nights. The rest of the 4 starters+Marvin played well. Josh Smith 15 defensive rebounds 2 blocks and 3 steals. Also 8-12 from the floor on the other end. IDK if he will make the all-star team based on his numbers but he's clearly had that type of impact so far.

Yeah, but Crawford is part of the 3pt problem. He needs to stick to taking to ball inside. Funny, just the thing I want to see Joe do less is what I want Crawford to do as much as possible.
