Don't Look Now...

I love these blowout victories because it gives Teague a chance to play lots of minutes. I know Bibby will be the starter for at least the rest of the season and he should be, but Teague is going to start demanding some minutes. He looks better everytime he steps on the court. If he continues to improve like he should, we have found our point guard of the future. Solid defense and he is Paul-like in that he can get to any spot on the court with the ball. I like that Woody realizes that he has very good guards in front of him and is not rushing anything. But this team will be much better at the end of the season than they are even now as Teague and Crawford get comfortable in this system.

He should get plenty of minutes in these next 6 games. We should go at least 5-1 and we should win them all. I am sure we will have a let down in a couple, but hopefully we can still win them.

Teague looks pretty comfortable out there. I have also been pleasantly surprised by his vision and passing ability. He has a long way to go, but he already has more to offer in that realm than I ever expected. At least the call for him to get some more PT will be warranted, unlike the now hilarious calls for Acie Law to play.

He needs to take more floaters and learn that this isn't college, where beating your man gives you a free trip to the basket.

True azure, but you can see him figuring that out more and more every time he plays... I think it would really help him if the Hawks put him in some 1 on 2 drills against Bibby with Smoove backing Bibby up. You know he can beat Bibby, but he will have to learn how to put the ball in the hoop before he gets to Smoove.
