Re: Memphis 10-14 (4-9 V) @ Atlanta 17-6 (10-2 H)
It always been a seesaw matchup between these two teams. Especially in the last four yrs. Although the Hawks may have the edge in the rebounding department. The Grizzlies have been holding their own on the boards as well. In most of their games they managed to win in the rebounding battle over their opponents whether it's win or lose. This game will be tight like the Celts game I think. If the Grizz can win the battle of the boards, knock down their FTs, and come out with energy from start to finish. They have a fighting chance to win this game.

Thats waaay too big a line. I'm easily taking the points (its up to 9.5) The Grizzlies can cause matchup problems for the Hawks. Josh doesn't like guarding big low post guys like Randolph. Crawford has to guard someone he'll have issues with. Plus the Grizzlies are the best offensive rebounding team in the league and the Hawks can still give up a lot of offensive boards. And memphis has just been playing better than their record. I'm easily taking the points- this isn't a good matchup for the hawks.

Is it bad that I don't ever have faith that we'll beat teams that on paper we should crush?

Grizzlies are playing really well of late. If this was in Memphis I would think they would be the way to go. In Atlanta I would have faith in the Hawks to win, but I wouldn't touch that line at all.

I love me some Marc Gasol!!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Crowd is so sparse, I may have to dance for the Sprite Jam Cam.
Seems like we are trying too hard to get Josh rolling resulting in turnovers.

Is it just me or has Josh been relatively quite about calls ever since the ejection? Feel free to correct me here.

Randolph Morris in the 1st half? This is a rare event indeed.

I'm surprised the Hawks have scored so many points w/ all the missed layups they had.

The Zaza is headed for a triple double.

Josh has been shooting poor for his standards lately. He is 5-12 tonight. He needs to up his efficiency.

Well....Smith missed a ton of easy layups at the rim today. That's the only complaint I have so far in this game.

Taking care of business at home so far. Impressive 3rd quarter. Just need to put them away early in the 4th, and get Teague in the game.

Looks like Vegas knew what they were talking about. Memphis still has time to make a run in garbage time.
Nice to see JJ starting to heat up. It is even nicer to get wins without JJ having to play 40 minutes.

Awesome win. Too bad Philadelphia couldn't help us out, because they battled Cleveland to the finish, but if we want to stay with the top 3, then we'll have to continue to win games like these vs weaker opponents at home.

Nice capper by Teague with the big dunk. Had a few dumb mistakes but still had 6 assists.
I'll continue to say that Randolph Morris would have averaged around 25 and 13 if he played division 2 basketball. He's better than Siler.
