OT-- Sundiata Gaines FTW

Post#1 » by SAUCERY_SWEET » Fri Jan 15, 2010 8:15 am

I'm a fan of all teams here in Georgia and i remember this guy was the main key cog in that incredible UGA team that won 4 games in 4 days in the SEC tourney a couple of years ago. He actually was the guy in all his years there. I just wanted to show him some love on this board, i bet you Jazz fans are loving him round about now as he took down "THE KING" and his band of merry men with a hot shot, right between the eyes. I love it.

What a game that was for Gaines and I hope Utah signs him for the rest of the season.

Great game for Gaines. Jazz were up 10 with under 5 left, then LeBron went on a tear with 18 points in some 2 minutes. Quite unreal. Gotta a lot of questionable calls. I guess they dont miss Eric Maynor.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Word today is that he's been signed to another 10 day contract. If the Jazz don't sign him for the rest of the season (when they have to make a decision) I bet another team will ink him based on last night performance on national TV (a lot of teams are employing less than the max 15 contracts right now). Gaines actually played very well in an earlier stretch when Utah built a double digit lead early in the 4th before Lebron went wild to give Cleveland the lead, so it wasn't just him hitting a GW shot. He

We actually have him to fill the minimum 13 players and also because we always have a third PG. He has been better than I expected, even without the buzzer beater. That shot puts him on another level though. I hope he stays around for a while and keeps improving. He is quite confident but also tough, not a bad fit for Sloan. :D

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

I was so glad to see Gaines knock off the Cavs. That was a hell of a shot.
