That's a big spread against the hottest team in the league, but we do owe them some payback.

I'll easily take the points here.

Will be interesting to see what happens when the bobcats go small. It will be interesting to see if Horford can take advantage of Diaw playing Center.

I'm going to predict that we lose this one - all it takes is for our offense to stall once, and then we'll get iso-wing play against one of the top defensive teams in the league.

I really am starting to lose it with us not taking advantage of glaring matchup advantages, like against Sac. Or the Knicks. Mainly, our tendency to take outside jumpers off the dribble when we could easily pound it low against terribad defensive bigs like David Lee and Hilton Armstrong. If we're smart, we attack Gerald Wallace early to put him in foul trouble, and then attack Diaw. We likely instead will settle for Joe tossing up semi-contested floaters against Raymond Felton and a soft doubling G-Force.

The Bobcats are in 5th place. This could be a first round matchup.

I'm hoping we manage to get the third seed - we would likely then face Toronto or Miami, both of which are better matchups than Charlotte (especially Toronto), and then likely face Boston in the 2nd round, leaving us with the winner of Cavs - Magic in the ECF.

The Refs/Home Team W/L:
Bill Kennedy 20-16
Eric Lewis 19-19
Mark Lindsay 19-11

Charlotte takes on Orlando tomorrow, so they need to rest the legs tonight, and for them to do that we need to blow them out. :D Good thing we have two days off before we go on the road to face Houston and San Antonio.

Somewhat of a statement game. Hot team, on our floor, Friday night. On paper we should smoke them but boy this team has come along way. Hoping for a blowout, but I know its gonna be close. Dont eff it up Joe. Go Hawks!

Refs have been lame in the 4th. It's almost like they are scared to call a foul on S.Jax.

WTF is up with Horford? Hes playing like a man lately. Josh with 4 TO's, but outside of blocks hes filled up the statsheet.
Jax has no conscience, and Gerald is a man. Teague plays like a vagina when he gets on the court. No confidence or swagger, and Marvin has been abnormally aggressive lately. Hopefully hes finding his role in this offense

The officiating in the 4th was almost as if 1 of the refs took Charlotte. They refused to call a foul on the Bobcats under any circumstance...even on Al''s dunk which was an obvious and 1. They covered anyway which was a relief.

Also...lol@the random Bobcat fan holding up a sign saying "the streak ends in the highlight factory" when they were down 14 with a minute to play. Fail.

Our bigs played some ball tonight. Joe needs to cut that superman shiz out. His late game heroics were deplorable.

I like that Josh outrebounded Wallace since a lot of people were giving Wallace the all-star edge because of his rebounding numbers.

^ Yo Evil do you think that Al's play lately will give him the edge for the ASG? Lee has been doing work to but his team is 7 below .500. Thoughts? Celtics are going down to the wire. Tied with 13.5 left. Go Blazers

Did Larry Brown wave the white flag too early (3:31 left)?

His strong play definitely should help, but I think it will come down to whether the coaches factor in record. I still don't see how Lee makes it given how far below .500 the Knicks are,but that's just my opinion. I think Horford, Noah, and Perkins are about even with Bosh as the only sure bet backup C ( unless they consider him a F).

What made you think that was an Bobcats fan?? Wouldn't the sign say "the streak continues in the highlight factory" if it was?? That was an Hawks fans portraying and ending to the bobcats 6 game winning streak, where's your head at?? :-?

Ha. You're probably right-I thought it was referring to the Bobcats streak of not winning in Phillips arena which hasn't happened in about 3 or 4 years now. It just seemed weird that the lady was holding up a sign with a Bobcats logo and then Rathburn saying "so much for that sign" or something like that.
