apparently Clippers traded away Al Thorton for nothing
DeAndre Jordan for an expiring contract (Jason Collins)?
hell if they want a first round pick, then give them the first round pick

The Clips have already shutdown teams this year and during previous years.

Word has been circulated for some time Jordan was unavailable. They've got him at a real cheap investment and he shows a lot of upside.

I think that they might be interested in the Hawks 2011 first rounder more than the 2010 first. They are trying to clear max caproom. The other choice they ahve is to trade away their first next season in order to get a pick in a future year. Though I'd think a team worse than the Hawks coudl trump that offer in the same way.
