4th Qtr offense.....

Im younger than most and have one garbage memory. Since Woody has been here has our 4th qtr offense been predominantly iso? I was talking to someone and he was talking about iso Lue and iso A Johnson.
WE can dedicate this thread to discussing the issues in the 4th qtr.
Is it just me or will this offense never change? I dont know how much of it falls on Woody bc it seems when Joe gets the ball he must pound it for 15 seconds then take a contested jumper or pass to Smoove for those high percentage jumpers.

Woody has always been for the iso. Really that isn't different than most NBA teams. Unfortunately Crawford and Joe have not been able to handle the pressure recently like they were earlier in the season.

This is the major problem that the Hawks need to correct and just saying JJ and Jamal need to make their shots is insufficient. A lot of teams do run isos but very few teams are as predictable as the Hawks. Teams know they can get back in the game in the 4th.

No question a lot of teams run iso in the fourth quarter. However, one of the main issues for us is JJ's inability to get to the free throw line. Essentially, we live or die by his fg percentage (or Jamal's) as the shot clock runs down. Am I making too much of this?
