slow day... can't wait for the game tonight. I was thinking...man how good would we be if this guy was playing center Al at the PF and josh at the hyper 3!! Talking about a disruptive front court.

Josh could never, ever, ever play the 3. NEVER.

But you could also play each player 32 minutes and the three could cover C and PF positions.
Josh-Al
Josh-Noah
Al-Noah
Now that Noah has shown what he can bring, it will not happen, but you can have some regret on not being able to trade up from 11th pick to 9th pick (Law at 11 and Noah at 9).
Unless Noah doesn't want more money and he's desperate and to play with Al, I don't see him in ATL.

Question always is, who do you bench in the 4th quarter?

Josh can play the 3 if we have a stretch 5 who also can play great defense.
Noah does not match that description.

When I think of 3's I think of guys on the wings.
Then I imagine Josh on the wing. Then I think of Antoine Walker. Then I cry.

Well, that's where the stretch 5 who can play great defense would come in. Right now Josh sags off on 3's because he's not fast enough to keep up with them when they drive and there's limited help behind him, but if we have a 5 who plays great defense, he can play tighter, and if/when they drive past him, they're getting met with help defense.
Note that I didn't say Josh should play the 3, just that he can.

Hey guys, interesting thread topic. I think every team in the league would like to have a guy like Noah on their roster. He brings such great energy and passion, and rebounds like a man posessed. Unless something major happens, I don't see him leaving Chicago. The thing that is interesting to me though, is that it's you guys wanting one of our players. It's usually the other way around - Bulls fans really wanting Josh or Big Al on our team.
