Joe Mazzula...great game plan...keep throwing up 3s and pray for one to hit. Marcus loves that.

This Celtics team is what you get when you have a lot of talented players, but none who are alpha, too scared to play with fire when needed.. this team as it is built will never win a Finals.. they'll be lucky to ever make it past round one of the playoffs.. THEY HAVE BEEN EXPOSED!

Go Jokic and Murray! They play a good brand of ball at least.

I have to disagree with you there, bud.
Horford needs to play less minutes, and even come off the bench, but still needs to be here.
Brogdon can't help being hurt, but has been extremely good all season, and certainly needs to come back.
Smart needs to quit searching for the highlight play and make better decisions. Go back and look at the replays. EVERYTIME Smart makes a stupid play on offense, he compounds it by making an even stupider play on defense the very next possession.
Browm needs to stop worrying about his "platform for social justice" and learn how to frigging dribble. He needs to remember that basketball needs to come first, or he won't have a platform to stand on for very long.

Overall, I feel that the Celtics need to get a stronger coach that will hold players accountable for screwing up doing the same thing over and over. Bam had 3 fouls in the first half, and not a single play was run to try and pick up more fouls on him. Yet when a heat player drove the paint, 2 players would rotate to Bam and give up a layup to the guard. That is on the coach 100%. Mazula was in way over his head, but he won't be fired. They need to bring in an asst coach, that could be next in line to take over the team if Mazula doesn't improve and have him on a very short leash.
If I were Brad, you HAVE to at least explore what is out there for Brown and Smart. I don't know how the owners sign off on giving Brown the max after a performance like this at this time of year. But Brown is still just 26 and will probably get his max deal. But I feel that Brown has one more year to get his crap together, or he will be out of here.
Smart is going to be 30, and I do think it is time to move on from him. If he is the heart and soul of this team, then we will never win a chip with him as out starting point guard. With his rep as a flopper, he will never get a fair ref's whistle, and that hurts the team.

Yeah because he was great the first 3 games lol.

Dude, people aren't bitching here about the 1st 3 games. They're talking about tonight. And with respect, he's one of the biggest reasons we even got here.

We lost the series by losing the first 3, and Tatum not showing up. He’s obviously injured this game, but still. We shouldn’t be in this position if he only shows up consistently. Who cares about his stats, which guys here love to bring up. He had a bunch of good scoring games the first 3 qrts of the 1st 3 games, only to disappear in the 4th.
If you can’t see that, then you must be a green teamer, JT fan boy.

Tatum, 1st teamer, superstar, MVP had a couple sparks, but in general did what he does, faded away to a big fat nothing. Don't know why so many like him. He's dumb as a **** rock. Just stupid. Stone stupid and dog dumb.

There're veterans on this team and you wouldn't know it by their stupidity. Smart, Brown, Tatum, Horford.....veterans. When your 3ball aint working time to change up. And when one man is killing you the top dog is supposed to step up and say "Yo, I got him".

Game 7 in Boston Garden. Blowout. These are low shameful embarrassing times. Worse than the game 3 blowout, by a bit. Both were embarrassing and shameful.

You're kidding right?? All_NBA Jaylen Brown who shoots what 39/17/50 or whatever for those 1st 3 games while JT gets trapped and triple-teamed is off the hook? Okay...

"Green teamer". I suppose I should've known I was arguing with the Felger 98.5 crowd. Puts things in the proper perspective.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Brogs summed it up well in the presser. One team played loose and was poised as a team, while the other was "tight" in its shooting and looked tense all over the court.

He also pointed out that we lost this season on the back off poor defensive focus and that we often lose trust in each other when our shots don't fall.

Brogdon should be the coach of this team and the other guy needs to go back to focusing on his stats.

Mazzulla on the other hand was in complete denial. He was defensive and aggressive in his lame responses to questions and was absolutely clueless in his presser.

I don't know what the changes need to be but the chemistry is off.

They can't simply just roll it back and expect for it to just work. Something has change.
