Trading JB for Simons + 3rd pick works in the trade machine.

I doubt Brad has the balls to do it, but I probably would do it.

We don't know who's going 2nd pick, but I could see Scoot or Miller being a good fit here. Hell, I might even take Amen - or possibly Ausar.

We could probably even get the Blazers to include some more picks - which we could package up with Brogdon to get a legit PF or C..

Other than Brown and Siakam and maybe Anoby, what other veteran star players are out there?? Kat?? Derozan (too old??)

I personally think Toronto will go all in Siakam if Portland wants him..

Yeah it seems more realistic that Toronto would trade their all-star for simons + 3rd pick, rather than Boston. Considering Boston is a contender and Toronto missed playoffs and just hired a HC who is known for developing young players.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

The need for a quality big man is a must if Banner 18 is the goal.

The Celtic offense will be more balanced with an inside threat.

Just look at how Denver made the Heat zone ineffective by having multiple points of attack.

Horford passing out to shooters time after time while in the paint should be enough evidence for the need of a quality big man on this team.

I would like to see the screenshots of that. I remember one play he was wide open in the paint on a layup and he kicked it out to a shooter. :banghead:

Murray for Brown would just make Tatum leave the Celtics

I think that narrative is so played out. I think the better narrative is if Boston doesn't start winning he will move Out of here a lot faster than having a supposedly teammate that he may or may not love.

If you want Tatum to stay build a good team around him that can win..

I agree. If we don’t win in the next two season, Tatum would bolt for the lakers, and we are stuck with Jaylen’s massive untradeable contract, with years of watching him lose the ball over and over lol. I’m getting bad vibes with Tatum endorsing for brown to get the supermax here. We need to be be flexible, and think long term, and the possiblity Tatum would want out in 2 years.

One of the reasons we don’t have a chip it’s because Tatum is not consistent enough to be a top 5 yet. He’s really **** good and showed major strides to be a 1 on a championship team, but he still needs to be more consistent in the playoffs.

Its pure mental with JT. He doesn’t have that mentality yet. Don’t know if he’ll ever have it. He gets frustrated easily when shots ain’t falling, or when calls don’t go his way, and he easily loses confidence, and it shows with his poor body language. You can’t have ZERO fg’s made in the entire 4th qrt the first 3 games of the series. Especially the first two at home and on a very close game??!!!!
If your star player doesn’t show up, everyone else loses confidence as well.
