So after the preseason it's firmly Lamar for me. I love my defensive, 110% effort guys. My uneducated guess is he gets some good run as a backup wing defender. I also am on the Queta train.

Scrubb had to be dropped for unfortunate reasons....his replacement

Queta!!!

Hot take....I think Queta can bring over 80% of what we had with Rob Williams.
Bigger, Stronger, HEALTHIER, better offensive toolkit, imo.

Obviously Rob is much quicker footed, but I think that Neemias will be a rotation piece. He has not looked out of plaace at all during preseason. Actually looked like he belonged. Was really surprised about that.

Also he and Pritch have seemed to develop some chemistry out there, and that cannot be discounted either.

I'd be elated with 30 -- 40% of RWIII.
I'm curious about how good his defense is. Not outlier plays like blocking shots, just his play-by-play normal defensive impact. Mazzula had good things to say about that last night, which was good to hear -- I noted a couple of times when Queta was in position on defense to contest shots but didn't even get a hand up.

For as much as Kornet is a Big White Stiff, he also rates so highly on advanced stats that I assume he must almost always be in the right spots, almost always doing the right thing. That is what Queta will have to beat out. But he has the body and offensive touch to make it a conversation, which is great for a guy signed out of the ether to a two-way a few weeks ago!

My revised binkies are Queta, Svi and Stevens.

And of course I'm rooting for Walsh.

Payton is too good for this poll.

My revised binkies are...it's a tie between....

Queta
Banton
Stevens
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

To publicly announce it I’m now with my original two of Brissett (although he probably is what he is and I jumped the gun), Banton (still like the flashes I see from him and interested to see how he does playing consistently with other rotation players exclusively), and now Queta (who replaces the recently departed Gabriel).

I still like a lot of the other guys in this pool of guys but I’m out on Kornet and almost out on JD. PP also about to play himself out of this group too.
