God bless Tommy's, Russell's and all late great Celtics' good souls.

But Tommy?

He was a player during our first 8 banner runs.

He was our coach during 12nd & 13th.

He was the announcer/commentator for the C's during the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th runs.

He was always there; officially paid for his work by the Celtics for either playing, coaching or commenting for us. (not definitely sure about the payments for the commentator part)

So this is the first time he was not physically there. His soul surely was.
