I'm with you, maybe there should be an abstain option?

As for the game itself, some random thoughts...
- Thought they should have sought White more in the 4th quarter to get shots up as he was ascending at that time.
- Loved that they got Tillman in. Didn't like that they seemed overly focused on getting him a look, his focus should have been more on the defensive side.
- Tillman's first look he dribbled the ball, which was a positive indication to me that they understand he helps more as a connector than he ever will as a 3pt shooter. But completely favor still working to develop his corner 3.
- Scal rightfully critiques Queta's missteps, but in terms of his tendency to over-help he had a few possessions that you could tell he self-corrected his initial instincts and restrained himself.
- I would love to know why JB did not pass to Pritchard for the end of 3rd quarter heave.
Baylor is Brat.

Not to make excuses for JT, but he's in good company with the 0/10 from 3. KD, Harden, Curry, and Lillard have all done it or worse.
Wild Stat: The Celtics are 42-1 (9-0 in playoffs) when Jrue Holiday scores at least 14 points in a game.

Re: Celts Sleep Through Basketball Game, Magically Still Win! NBA Cup Victory Cigar vs WAS 11/22
Being a mod isn’t fun sometimes, I want to make snarky comments too many times and can’t. I think I want a warning instead. Oh well.
I will say, I haven’t watched the 4th yet so it must get much worse. I have yet to see an AOS worthy game. It’s often funny the games people choose as AOS.
Queta fouled his butt off but he has not been nearly as bad as I thought he would be by now after reading the comments (3 q down). The passing has been as often as it has been in the last few seasons (jays had 13 aasists IIRC), majority of the missed 3s were shots you need to take, you just have to make more of them! passing is another thing that shows up only in particular situations. Shooting was the issue, the shots were good ones, except for the “30ft” ones. Make a few more of them and the passing isn’t talked about. X gave us a lil spark!
JB was hit on some of those misses inside but I need him to wake up to the reality that the NBA is letting stuff go this season, he needs to get over it! He should be used to it, I haven’t seen a dunk highlight video of anyone with more obvious fouls that were uncalled… in the less physical era of course. He gets hit all the time. Look at those dunks in the finals, on one, PJ gives him a clear forearm shiver in the air and nothing. I don’t have the stats but it looks like he’s getting more calls this season, leave the refs alone! The 3s he missed were mostly open and wide open, should he take other shots and or stop shooting so many? Probably but no one tells stars that, except the Jays! The only guy I know who doesn’t keep putting them up when open if he’s not hitting is KL and that’s because he doesn’t toss them up anyway. If LBJ was going to be 3 for 15, he’s going to go 3 for 25 and the game will be over before he thinks about not shooting anymore!
I haven’t seen the 4th where JT hits shots but other than missing buckets, he did everything else like he was supposed to. Many stars quit doing anything when their shots don’t fall!
Jrue hit his shots, he didn’t stand out in any negative way! Haven’t noticed White much, but someone in here said he didn’t shoot well either. Idc, it happens!
Celtics had a big day the day b4, add that to who they were playing, it didn’t look as bad as yall make it seem. Again, haven’t seen the 4th. The energy wasn’t there, but give context credence. I’m okay with what I’m seeing, if we hit our usual shots, it would have been a blowout up to what I have watched.
I watch fans of other teams, y’all are tougher on the Celtics players than they are when their teams have done NOTHING for most of their history, their teams deserve some of the things yall say. They deserve it more.
Oh, please keep saying it, their boards over the internets are TERRIBLY BORING and dead! I’m just saying that it’s not that bad. If this is AOS worthy, a few in the East will take that right now! Heck, the West is considered good, but when I tell you the games haven’t looked much better, I mean it! Mediocre ball all over the place.
Shortest offseason, off winning a chip, better start than last season with Zinger, just beat the team that’s undefeated without playing us. Read the board, we’re all complaining about something every other day! Can’t chalk it up to wanting them to be better because the reality of it is, they are doing better than most of the league. Look at the Mavs, sure they’re in a tougher conference but they aren’t playing well coming out of the same situation as us, minus all the celebrating! Ask Jokic and Denver how easy it was after their chip. When everybody wants to take you down as the champ. Then add on top of just wanting to beat Celtics anyway, it’s not always going to look great. We’re fighting our butts off through it. We’re not in the same situation, these bad teams don’t have to be good all season but they are going to go balls to the wall when they meet us. They mark it on their calendar, even if they don’t win they are going to give everything they have for those few games.
I thought some of you were going to enjoy the ride more but this feels like it did before the chip. Again, keep it coming, it’s funny and entertaining! I just want to know if you see how after everything, it might be doing too much? One more time, DON’T STOP for the board’s sake, just reflect.
Im not going to watch the 4th because I’m more disappointed the game hasn’t been as bad as it seems in here. I thought I would get more action and tomfoolery! I was promised AOS bumbling and fumbling, when the worst I saw was missed open shots and low energy. Y’ALL OWE ME A HORRIBLE GAME!!! I went in for bums and thumbs but came out with a win and “meh, to be expected.”

One more thing, after all that fake laughing at Biden’s jokes, it’s like they played 4 in 5 days! I wanted to gauge my eyes through that and they had to “perform” through it! It’s a wonder they made it to the game! Scrub the internet!! Except for that “pass” Biden made, gif/meme it all day!!

Re: Celts Sleep Through Basketball Game, Magically Still Win! NBA Cup Victory Cigar vs WAS 11/22
One little thought I just want to get out of my head... Scal and Drew are hella jinxy lol.
I swear whenever they start out the pregame bragging about how we're going to rout this sucky team we're playing, that's when the C's have a sluggish game and the other team plays well and it doesn't go that way. Then we all watch the game with the high expectations they set, listen to them get all grumpy about not being up 200 points, and we get more mad at the team than we really need to.
You can't give 110% in 82 games and have anything left for the postseason, so it's really not a terrible idea to pace yourself against bad teams. A win is a win.

This game showed the difference between having a performing Tatum and a non-performing Tatum. Edit: or at least, felt like it. Now he was a team best +20 and almost got a triple double so what do I know? I guess I'm spoiled.

JB still can’t shoot the 3 for ish, I don’t recall it ever being this terrible. He missed normal 3s. Tatum was dishing it, but he was shooting 3s from Texas, they were open, but weren’t good shots. Loved that pocket pass to Korny! Kornet did his thing! The refs were trash!!! It was more meh than anything. Q wasn’t bad, but apparently it gets worse later? Korny was better tho.
Still need to get to the second half, I’ll tell you my thoughts later. The comments suggest that this will be a really bad half.
Forgot to add that Pritchard and Hauser saved our butts by hitting threes! Might have looked much worse without that.
That's the reason why the Cs will be very hard to beat this season.
Numerous times this season PP and Sam came off the bench to knock down 3s and prevent the Cs from getting blown out.
Those two will really help keep Tatum and Browns minutes down during the regular season as the bench won’t be giving away the lead. It’s so nice to finally have shooters on the team. For years we had none.
Remember? Jeez. We got the riches now.

Yes, but we've had a very easy schedule so far I'd say. I'm tempted to say we're playing with fire, but I should give the team and the looong regular season the benefit of the doubt I guess.

Washington Post spin on the game is that the coach called out his team after the previous game for not playing hard enough on D, and they evidently responded.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".
