Peterson/Walsh/Queta over everybody else

This game would have been different

Joe would have to tell the Jays to just play 30-31 minutes per game and the Jays would simply ask Brad to fire Joe.

Queta over Kornet and Al for a few minutes
Walsh/Peterson over Al, Kornet, Hauser, PP

Js should play no more than 35 mins and be glad that they will be fresh for the playoff

It's hard to use 4 bigs in one game and it's hard to limit the minutes of the other bench players because it's hard to be effective in short minutes.

For a 10-man rotation to work, there has to be a stretch in the game where both Jays are on the bench.

There's no way around it.

During the Big 3 of Pierce, KG, and Ray, the highest scoring average was 20 ppg by Pierce and that only happened one time from 2008 to 2013.

You're not wrong, but clearly this is about individual stats.

If Joe let those cats play then there's no way JT averages 27 ppg and JB 23 ppg.

Cavs and Griz the top 2 scoring teams in the league have no player getting more than 30 minutes per game with their 10-man rotation.

This is on the Jays not willing to sacrifice.

If the stars are dictating how much they play and need to score, they need a new coach.

Under normal circumstances, you are 100% correct.

But we all know that's not how the NBA works anymore.

We had one of the best coaches in the league in Brad Stevens.

But Tatum said they need a new voice.

It was only last season that Adrian Griffin got fired even when his team was winning 70% of their games.

Even the Bucks GM supported Giannis in the firing of the coach.

The star players are running the show.

It is what it is.

NBA is hard
Sometimes you have limited opportunity
Team as a whole should do better

I understand what you're saying.

But I think this is just a case of championship fatigue.

Ever since that loss to the Heat in 2020, in the ECF, the Jays have been under immense pressure to win a chip until it happened last year.

Right now there's no more pressure to win, so the intensity level is fluctuating.

Yup

They need the AS break for a mini rest. Another mini rest before the playoffs. If they can get there in one piece, nobody is beating them in a 7 game series. It's easy to say that it's gonna be a lot harder than it was last year, but you never know if they peak when it counts.
