starters were slacking, so Joe put in the bench, and they didn't play well, so it's Joe's fault
He put the bench in because it was the same time on the game clock that he went to that rotation in the first half. The issue is not nipping the Knicks run in the bud far earlier. The run was 20-5 before he finally called timeout. It’s regular season so he wants guys to get these reps, personally I’m never a fan of “figure it out” coaching because you can’t control how the other team plays and their emotions
seems like the Celtics figured it out just fine tonight. They (rightfully) have no fear of these Knicks
I'm just tweaking posters who are quiet when the team is up 27 on national TV and then start blaming the coach when anything goes wrong at all.
It’s a reoccurring theme with Joe falling asleep at the wheel due to his subpar lack of game feel. He was far better last postseason than he was the one prior so I’m not as concerned with him testing his guys in the regular season but, you’re putting more and more minutes on your rotation guys when the 4th quarter really should’ve been extended Gino time today.
