Game Thread – Heat @ Celtics – Wed. 7:30PM, April 2, 2025

If I wasn’t a mod, I would probably have a lot more discussions. The things I want to say aren’t mod-like. I let a lot slide this season so far, but I have enjoyed the laughs in my head. There hasn’t been enough push-back on some of the things said, usually when I’d comment. Might have to make a new account… wonder if that works.

Oh, just let it rip. I actually wondered what your 'board seems French' comment meant.

It meant when Jb wasn’t good it was said, his NAME. When anyone else faltered it was we this and we that (obv oui/yes but IYKYK). Then after that comment Tatum got a bit of it, poor guy. Don’t get an award because of BS and his own team’s fans don’t treat him right either.

We may not be good, but we can’t be that bad either, we haven’t lost enough games to be stink. We do need to fix that though, but this one is coming off a LONG road trip and seeing a record, I’ll let it slide. Don’t like losses but man, you can’t win em all.

He was setting the world ablaze with his all-around game, this was just a hiccup. This goes to show, when he’s good we win, he deserved the honors stolen, because they just don’t understand or credit how important and good he is. Bums the lot of them, that’s the media, NBA, and some fans!

Meh, you win some you lose some, probably would have a couple bans this season. Lot of triggers this season. Especially the last few months, I typed and erased so many comments.

Turning point of the game was when JB jacked up that heat check 3 with 7:23 remaining in the 4th and the Heat were just up by 5.

After that JB miss, Heat scored on a a lob dunk from Ware and it was all downhill from there for the Celtics.

This is where the Cavs and OKC have the advantage over the Celtics, the basketball IQ.

Yeah, that was the turning point, not when he drug us back from 20pts down. Korny the only positive +/- and JB was only -1. The other starters were double figure negative. He did have 3 turnovers though, 1 away from the lead there.

It has been happening to JB his whole career.

The heat checks need to be minimized because it kills momentum.

That heat check 3 was simply a bad shot.

Cs were trying to come back and just had a great defensive stop.

JB then jacked up that 3 and the momentum went back to Miami's side.

All the work coming back from 20 down just wasted.

The loss is not what bothers me because after a 14-1 record in March, the Cs were due for a loss.

But JB still making silly mistakes is a concern because this is his 9th season.

JT has already figured it out.

JB needs to do the same.

I think the team actually values the G league playoffs. The Maine C's played last night and then again tomorrow. Doubt they suit up JDD and DrewPete tonight

Maybe they just want their bases covered. Holiday and Brown could both be OUT and they just want insurance bodies in case of foul trouble, in-game injury or whatever. Agree that likelihood of them actually playing is super low.

Even with all the QUESTIONABLES out, Cs can come out with…
