Well we all knew this was going to be a loss with KP, Jrue, Al and Tatum taking the night off.

Who is we? I thought we had enough out there to win. They needed to turn it over less, JB and white had 7 combined. They missed plenty of good shots. Some key rebounds missed hurt in key moments. Poor D hurt at times (overreacting). There were many instances where we messed up. All of it combined and here we are. None of the reasons we lost had to do with the missing players.

If we shot better, defended better, passed better and played with more effort we would have won. That's basically what you are saying.

You are underestimating the importance of KP, Jrue and Al and the fact that Heat are fighting for a playoff spot. Add to that, Tatum had one of his worst games of the season on both ends of the court. We weren't winning this.

Celtics are now 0-5 coming off a road trip of at least 3 games. Something different for this group again. Last season, they were 5-1 in that scenario.

Not having 3 key guys shouldn't have been an excuse. Miami was missing a ton of guys too and they're not that really good to begin with. Kyle Anderson took our guys to school! Physical and mental fatigue is a valid excuse though and JB was clearly hobbled. That bumped into Heat's desperation to move up the standings and go into the postseason with some momentum too.

In an 82-game season, a team, however great, is due a couple of stinkers. OKC just hasn't gotten the memo or because of their historic defense, they can overcome off shooting nights.

You definitely know I know the importance of those players, my posting history can tell you that. That has no bearing on whether we could win that game without them, we've done it many times, against better teams than the Heat!

Just play through contact.

It's useless blaming the refs because it's beyond the control of the players and coaches.

When I was playing ball, I loved the physical play and if I get a call then great.

But the priority should be making the shot, foul or no foul.

Time will come when JT gets those calls, but for now, just focus on making the shot.

Arguing with the refs and getting technical fouls will only hurt the team.

Same thing with KP. Each game he gets at least one offensive foul called because a smaller player is guarding with his face while hacking and pushing before he gets the ball without any call

Blaming the refs is my way of venting. I know that if an AI with a camera was refereeing - the calls would have been different

Players getting technical fouls because of too much complaining to the refs is a losing battle.

Coaches getting techs is normal if it's not on a regular basis.

I think part of the reason why the refs are not giving him more calls is he's trying to get fouls instead of just trying to make the shot.
The refs will not reward that.
