Celtics new arena thread

If ownership does indeed move forward with building a new arena, where would you like to see it?

Or do you prefer they just stay where they are?

They need a new arena but I can't really fathom them leaving Boston proper.

There is no way they don't get a new arena though. It's how all these leagues work.

On the other hand it is concerning the new owner needed so many investors to buy the team. There is no way they're getting a new arena unless they pay for it then self. If they can't do that they'll never get the project off the ground.

There will be no new arena in the forseeable future. The deal with Jacobs is too good.

Preferably in Manila so I can watch a couple of games per season.

If it had been a Ballmer-type owner with bottomless bank accounts you could have seen it, whether it be the Gillette site or the postal annex by South Station, decking over the pike near Back Bay station, possibilities are there. As it stands though I think we'll be sending a check into the lowly Jacobses every 1st of the month

I go to watch the Celtics in Boston from NY. So for me a place that is easier to get in and out of. The Gillette building seems to be the better option than other areas I've heard that would be traffic nightmares.
