Devin Carter please.
Or just let Pierce play the point again like in 2013.

Celtics have DWhite, Pritchard, Simons, Brown and Hugo as ball handlers. Celtics don't need Dinwiddie or Carter. Here is an idea, how about getting a big that can rebound the ball and play defense.

Nah, never been much of anything other than a solid scorer and that was a while ago when he was really good attacking the basket, i.e. his Brooklyn days. His shooting doesn't offset him losing a step athletically and he doesn't bring a whole lot else to the table. I'd rather roll the dice on Walsh if it's between the two, at least he has defensive potential.

Dinwiddie is decent but I would be concerned of him eating up into Hugo's minutes. No for me.

Passing on a lotto talent with potential for a Clint Capela type would be just an awful and short sighted move.

No need really. Just takes up a roster spot and salary we don’t need to be spending. I like him though.

I voted 'yes' and instantly regretted it. More of a NYK or LAL signing

Stupid Sexy Dinwiddle ...
Hope you were on the same thought page as me Ryan (aka Simpsons reference) otherwise I look rather stupid lol
In answer to the OP, it's a firm No from me, don't think we picked up an obscure journeyman from the scrapheap and made him a gem since PJ Brown in 2007/08 (who was actually a surprisingly good and valuable contributor that season)

I'm not as high on Carter as you are, I really don't think he is any good. Apparently, it seems like both the Celtics and Kings agree.

Issue with the Celtics is, as you’ve said, they don’t have real PT which is what that kind of guy is looking for - because unfortunately Simons is on the team. Personally I’d swap them in a heartbeat.

I'll agree with you on that one because I don't think much of Simons either. At the very least Carter would defend, move the ball and rebound. Carter is a horrible shooter though.
