The East is the strongest shape it has been in years and we have a lot of young and unproven talent on our squad right now.

Joe strikes me as the type who will never willingly tank (even though I think it's for the best if we do tbh)

How many extensions does he have at this point? Isn't he already the C's coach through 2047?

Joe got his 200th coaching win last night. Third fastest to coach 200 career wins after Phil Jackson and Steve Kerr.

To me, what's important is the coach getting the right results.

Joe is doing that right now.

Before this season, Joe was viewed as someone having success because of the abundance of talent he was coaching.

Now with less talent, Joe is still winning.

And the Celtic players playing hard and working hard is a reflection of their head coach.

Well to be fair Joe really doesn't have much choice especially with the play style he wanted at the beginning of the season.

Well to be fair Joe really doesn't have much choice especially with the play style he wanted at the beginning of the season.

Also proof that Joe will do whatever it takes to get the results he wants.

There was this narrative that Joe exclusively sticks to his 8-man rotation.

I think Joe shortened his rotation when he had guys like KP, Jrue, Al, and Kornet.

Jrue, KP, and Al all agreed to sacrifice by having a smaller role in the offense because the Jays would be scoring a lot.

So IMO, the compromise would be to give guys like KP, Al, and Jrue a lot of playing time.

That automatically meant very few minutes to young players and rookies.

This season is different because the Cs have less talent.

And we're seeing Joe using more players.

Well we had a similar conversation I believe, but considering the play style he is adapting is what lot of the top teams have been doing. I am sure the analytics team have come back with speed, much like offensive rebounding is more important than the Doc Rivers era of getting back on D though we're probably not long from that return.

That's great because it shows Joe is open to change.

Adapting to what the top teams are doing is a sign of flexibility.

Joe's innovating and that's great!

Give this man his flowers. He's a really good coach, doing what he's doing with an imbalanced, size-challenged, talent-starved roster.

You’re pretty free and loose with the flowers today, I see.
