I quite like Simons as a catch and shoot guy in the corner.

Seems like Queta is an extended slump on the boards -- 3reb tonight... -5 overall in the game, how do we get Neemi back on track?

Queta has been outmatched the last 2 games for sure. He might be hitting some type of wall. He isn't used to playing this much. His rebounding and defense in the paint have been bad. He is out of position and getting bounced off his space in the paint.

He's not physical enough nor athletic enough nor skilled enough to avoid being outplayed on a regular basis. Pretty much the definition of a replacement level player. Useful, but limited.

I agree he isn't physical enough. But is athletic. He is 7'0, with long arms and has bounce. He is a skilled player. He has had a really good season, so far. He just had 2 bad games on defense and on the boards. He will bounce back.

Guy has beem cookin these past few weeks.

At the very least his trade value has lifted (esp as he is on an expiring) although happy to keep him if we don't get a decent offer Brad would accept.

I'm sure if Simons gets more playing time he'll be more productive.

Like in this game, Simons had 20 points in 28 minutes and Simons was playing in crunch time.

I don't know if Joe will do this every game because the Cs are really small when PP, White, and Simons are on the court at the same time.

LP blacked me out of this one for 3 days since apparently there's one Jazz fan watching some obscure station in some obscure corner of Oregon, so of course, LP thinks I should too. Seems like a win it and move on type of game from the box. Nice to see Simons get some longer minutes tonight. I assume he was playing good overall ball? It's not like the shooting was that hot.

Every time I opened my eyes, white had a block! Just said I’m the Great Wall! STAT line looked like he was Wemby! GOATed line for sure!! Needed every bit of it!

Utah has been tough for us. Needed everybody and we got something from nearly everyone! Winner winner, Ainges for dinner!

White did good but why can’t he be like this all the time? Too inconsistent. 3-pt shooting from him, PP, and Sam were also trash.

If we look back at the start of the season, most of us we would be thrilled at our record at the end of 2025 and maybe more importantly the rise of Jordan Walsh and super rookie HUGO !!!

We have overachieved most pre season predictions. Got to love that.

Also i love watching The Lakers getting thumped om their home court. Great way to end 2025 !

Minott not getting any minutes. Makes sense since Hugo does everything Minott does and more. Still think Brad needs to upgrade from Neemy preferably by the deadline.

White redeemed himself after pooping his pants against Portland. Just wish he was more consistent.

Solid team win as White smokes it and Simons gets a few puffs! Get that guy some more burn and you'll continue to see growth/productivity. Simon says "I will silence the haters in 2026, haha".... PP has come a long way, looks like he's been working with JB on going to the rack and shooting that step back! 1-1 on the West coast, onto the Kings game next year. Happy New Years everyone!

Nah, I'm in the central Oregon hotbed. Most of the internet sees my IP as Portland area, though.

From Celtics Blog. Interesting to see that assist rate has almost no correlation with offensive rating.

Was that the first time we had Brown-White-PP-Simons in crunch time? Definitely worked this time. The four of them also accounted for 26 of the team's 27 assists.

I feel like we had it several times at the beginning of the year, with mixed results.

It was no surprise at all we struggled in the first month of the season. Its the first time we have missed Tatum for such an extended period of time, both players and Joe had to adjust/figure it out and have done so superbly.

Yeah, I was just answering the question.
