I don't think so.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

The tired legs theory is one I try to take into account. At this stage, I have given Rivers the benefit of the doubt that he is equipped to gauge this kind of thing, but I surely don't dismiss this as a possibility too. I try to restrict my criticisms to the situation without passing judgment for its origins.

During the game, you could see Perkins was getting very tired. A few plays later he half stepped to defend a shot by Caron, and didnt even attempt to put his hands up. I think the tired legs def had something to do with the loss.

Good observation. I know I'm going to come across as a Doc basher as this is turning into a string of criticisms, but, there have been a couple of times during the course of this season that I recognized Perkins was laboring and it took a few possessions before Rivers would get someone up to sub him. I chalked them up to Doc trying to push Perkins to fight through it for his second wind, however, I'll have to make a point to keep this issue in the back of my mind in coming to my own conclusions about the coach.

Wow now the Wizards are a **** team, we have been to the playoffs 3 straight years while you guys were in the lottery. You guys are getting cocky and have no respect in defeat. The Wizards would beat the Celtics in the playoffs with a healthy Arenas, hell we might not even need him to take the C's out.

You Celtic's fans need to accept the C's didn't lose those games but the Wizards won those games. Getting too cocky will make you guys a quick out in the playoffs vs the Pistons.

Well as things stand now we wouldn't face the Pistons until the ECF. Can you please tell me with all your infinite knowledge how a trip to the ECF's can be considered a "quick out" as you put it? Thanks for the insight.

When a team blows a 14 point lead in the 14th quarter it's generally a case of them losing the game and not the other team winning the game. I'm just glad we have one more meeting against the Wiz to even the series.

I've thought about that. Strengths and weaknesses are similar.

And who said you guys will win the next meeting? Keep in mind the Wizards minus an all-star starter in Gilbert Arenas beat your talented team back to back. The Celtics could just be a media creation just like those Lakers from a few years back with Malone, Payton, Kobe, and Shaq. The key to beating them is testing that weak bench. The C's need a backup PG bad! They should go after Sam Cassell.

KG and Pierce are two of my favorite players but some Celtics fans have a huge ego this year compared to last year. If the Wizards or Magic don't win it all, I'm actually rooting for the Celtics or Lakers. The Celtics are having an amazing season and the die hard fans deserve that.

LOL a media creation like that Lakers team awhile back.

You mean the one with Shaq/Kobe dynasty. Backed by Malone,Payton and others?

You mean the one that rolled through the San Antionio Spurs on their way to the NBA Finals?

I'd be pretty happy if the media made us like them lol
