Earl Watson would be a nice pickup

He seems like he's really frustrated with the direction of the Sonics. Watson could be a solid backup. His numbers are decent. His only problem is his size.

gotta give a little to get a little. I think the Sonics will get better offers than anything we have. Who would we trade? Do not say Scal!

No doubt he would be a good backup though, he can shoot and dish and play half decent D

We don't have the salary to trade for him. Take a look at the trade checker - we'd have to give up Scal and Tony Allen at least to make the deal work financially, and then it's not worth it.

We're really stuck with whomever gets bought out. Hopefully the Clippers decide to let Cassell go.

I know quite a lot of people who would be very happy if we get Earl Watson: the Sonics fans.

Earl Watson has no place on the team. He's too talented to be a backup on the Celtics, bot not good enough to take minutes from our current backcourt. He's much more suited for a team that's in the development phase.

Earl Watson? Oh God no. That guy has like 20 million left on his contract over the next three seasons. Terrible, terrible idea.
