Ray Allen
I am startin to believe he will be traded when his contract is an expiring. I thought maybe we woul resign him but now I see he is haveing a hard time being the second or thir wheel. He wxpiring will net us a good player when that time comes.

I agree he will probably be traded around that time, but I don't think it has anything to do with him struggling. That's just a solid plan to replace an aging star when his contract is expiring, whether he is struggling or not. Michael Redd's contract is up at the same time and he would be the perfect replacement for Ray.

Were not going to be able to trade a washed up all-star for a young one just because he's expiring guys.
There have been expirings that have just expired on a team... and we'll probuly be in that situation because we won't have any young talent to add to a deal for a good player. That our we will take a bad contract back to make.. a run at a title? Nah by then we should be looking around and thinking about rebuilding.

Ray doesn't have to be traded FOR Redd. Redd will be a free agent and we could just sign him.

I don't think the problem is on Ray. He's the one that's had to make the biggest adjustments to his game. I think Doc has to do a better job of running more plays for him. We already have a ton of sets for Pierce and KG, we run, but not as many for Ray.
Part of his struggles late has to do with that too. But from what I've seen this year, I fully expect him to get better integrated and play better as the season goes on.

I think in years past you could make this statement, but I don't know. This year to me it really seems he has improved his overall game.
But the Bucks are winning with Redd not playing... I think the Bucks have in a way, reshaped into include Andrew Bogut as their main man. He's starting to look very very good. We all know he can rebound, score some and can pass, but it's his D, something he's been getting flack for, that's really starting to come together.
I think by next year, Bogut will be their best player. This is by no mean to disrespect Redd, but more of a compliment to Bogut of how much he's improved.
