This has probably been brought up before but why not sign randy livingston hes played in the nba and would probably be ok with limited minutes.

Is he gonna be at all better than Eddie House? Probably not. The C's are better off playing Gabe Pruitt for limited minutes than wasting another roster spot on a guy like Randy Livingston.

Not saying I favor signing him, but, one has nothing to do with the other when comparing Ainge passing on Stoudamire to possibly signing Livingston. He can be signed to a 10-day contract, I believe. And he's 6'4, 200+. Plus he won't mope and whine if he goes a string of games without getting off the bench. At least he shouldn't have the same sense of entitlement to do so.

No reason to give him a 10 day contract, he wouldn't play. The Celtics are still trying to find ways to get Gabe Pruitt in the game.

My guess is that Ainge knows who or at least what he wants and he knows it will be available later on one way or another, and he doesn't need to do anything about it right now.

Looks like it. Stoudemire gone. Boykins gone. It's Sam or bust.

Sam Cassel or Bust. Mighty Mouse is a long gone. Ainge holds the Ace of Spades.

Look OUT, or let it hang out.
