I wouldn't trade TA straight up for Mike Miller, if salaries were equal.

Mike Miller is worse salary wise, is okay on defense but nothing special defensively, and better, but still not great or overly consistent offensively. TA might be the better all around player right now if he keeps playing like he's been playing, and has much more upside.

We can't land Miller anyway - Memphis already has Cardinal under contract and will not take Scal's contract back.

New Orleans will make a play for Mike Miller IMO. Their best SG is Mo Pete. Jannero Pargo and Bobby Jackson are both undersized and not that good, and unreliable, respectively. Mike Miller is a great fit for them off the bench - both Bobby Jax and Jannero Pargo's salaries match up to Miller's salary and run out next year, a year before Mike Miller's contract runs out. I could see that trade happening (with NO throwing in a pick).

We don't need to trade Scal, we can sign and trade Kandi or Wallace.

But I can totally see that New Orleans deal happening, it makes a ton of sense.
