Yes the glee of the haters for the Pats losing the superbowl is kind of annoying. But if we knew they were going to win 100% sports wouldn't be worth watching. It's upsets like this that make it exciting for fans.
One thing that irks me is people act like Tom Brady is now a choker and the Pats got killed. If Asante Samuel just catches that ball thrown right at him we win..
I look at the whole Pats thing as a postive in a way. It will be the impetus that Bill needs to shed some of the older players. While we might suffer in the regular season while they learn - in the long run maybe we will be able to make some athletic plays down the stretch.
Remember when Tedy Bruschi or Harrison used to be able to make key defensive plavs down the stretch. 5 years ago that would have happened. But without Roosie Colvin out there that kind of thing just seemed missing in our team. We need to trade down in the draft and restock our roster.
Also I can't believe that guy lost that fumble. He grabbed it and went right to the ground! Do'h.

I was in shock. I'm still pissed but since we have already won 3 it's not as bad as I thought. It's really tough listening to talk radio and watching tv right now with all the Giants talk. Watching the clips of the parade was really hard to do.
I've been a fan of the Sox, Pats and Celts my whole life. I remember watching the Pats lose to the Bears (I was around 5 years old) The Pats and Celts are close as far as my favorite team but the C's get the nod by a slight margin. I don't remember much of the last C's championship and I think when they finally get # 17, my joy will be much greater than when the Pats or Sox won. I must say we are very lucky to have such great teams.
