ugh i hate anticipation like this.. i feel like even talking about it jinxes us:( i would love to have sam here and i would love it more because we wouldnt have to give up tony, we could push house to the 2 on offense but have sam guard the 2's on, tony at the 3, posey at the four and...at the five... sam is exactly what this team needs, a vet who can take and make big shots. i remember watching him that yr he played with kg thinking how much better he made that team. even at 38 sam is still a great pg.
But i dont wanna jinx it,
my only hope is that he is talking about so much out loud now that something has to be in the works. two weeks ago he wouldnt entertain the conversation
But i dont wanna jinx it,

If Cassell has his mind set on playing for us. Then I wouldnt be surprised if he is bought out. I understand that it is in the Clippers best interest to trade him. But, If Cassell doesnt want to be traded. He could kill any potential deal very easily.
Add to that Donald Sterling penchant for being cheap. If Cassell is willing to accept a reduced buyout. It just might work out for us. I am cautiously optimistic.
