Perkins scored 20 points in the 1st game against LA, not the 2nd one.

In the 2nd one, Pierce **** all over the Lakers like he always does and the Celtics rolled to an easy 20 point win where the Lakers got frustrated that the Celtics were so much better and Lamar Odom tried to cheap shot Ray Allen.

+1

We're still going to own the Lakers even after the Gasol trade. Too bad we won't be able to prove it until next year because there is NO way the Fakers make it to the Finals.

OHHHHH snapppp!!! because an early February game without our MVP candidate in which we lose by 1 point is a harbinger of things to come. try coming up with some other lame excuses DB.

and to who said that Perk is a scrub and will revert to his scrub form, why dont you ask Dwight about how much of a scrub defensively Perk is. Perk will cancel out the Bynum matchup, KG will be a kid in a candy strore against Pau, Paul will drive right by Odom ALL DAY and Rondo will abuse Fisher off of drives. SO, that leaves LA with ONE advantage, good luck with that.

and its all a moot point because PHX will take em out, Shaq/Amare>>>Bynum/Pau

Laker fans are still living by the notion that the Celtics are only as good as PP, Ray and KG. So far this season we have proven otherwise. We have a good 8 or 9 man rotation. Rondo is getting better and better as the year goes on. Perk is proving to be a perfect compliment to KG on both ends of the court.

I was thinking the same thing when I heard the score on the way to work this morning. That should bring them back down to earth a bit.

Return to Boston Celtics
