I don't know. I tend to agree with Dorf maybe his ups are wore but his first step still seems good, plus he seems to be having a great year as far as finishing his drives.

But Pierce never was a guy that can jump out of the gym. His game was more about jumpshots and his size and strength allowing him to get to the basket at will. He was never someone who had amazing athleticism like Kobe or Lebron.

Even here in high school he isn't exactly flying

He even looks like he had the same sort of chubby arms.
The video also features former celtic pick, Kris Clack, who was actually still ballin' in the d-league last night. http://www.nba.com/dleague/playerfile/k ... index.html

He is having no problem getting to the rim this year have you not notice how often he drives down the lane to dish to one of the big men(Perk, Leon, Big Baby).

There is no debating he is not finishing as strong at the basket as we are used. I'm telling you ever since he hurt his foot he isn't dunking the ball anymore. It hasn't affected him finshing at the rim.

Pierce still gets by his man and all though he has lost some explosiveness it doesn't mean he can't get easy hoops and thats what we all want if we can get it.

Finishing with a monster dunk is still worth the same amount of points as a layup.

Pierce still finishes strong though and gets his fair share of 3 point plays.

And I have no problem with PP passing the ball in the interior to our big guys....they work to get their position while PP is driving and if they're open feed them the cookie sometimes.

Big guys need to eat once in a while!
