Perk's shoulder
Unless I missed it I haven't seen any info about his injury against Minnesota. Anyone have any news?

He went out of the game after doing something to hurt his shoulder and yes I believe it was the one he has had issues with. He looked to be in pain, but I dont know if it was anything bad or not. I'm not really even sure what happened. It looked to me like he just swung his arm or something.

Celtics center Kendrick Perkins (1 point, five rebounds) left the game for good with one minute left in the third quarter with a strained left shoulder. He will be evaluated today. Although Rivers expressed concern over the injury after the game, Perkins told team director of media relations Jeff Twiss he felt fine . . .

Probably not as bad as it seemed.

I hope this is true. People that get on Perkins just don't know how valuable he really is for the Celtics.
Big Al took over the game last night as soon as Perk went out with an injury. I hope he can play Sunday or Duncan is going to have a 30 point game.

I really hope it's not serious. Perk played incredible defense on Jefferson last night.

Perk is questionable for tomorrow....day to day...which I think is what was said about KG in the beginning.

I would love to be wrong but IMO Perk is too tough to come out of game for something minor.

And KG came back into the first TWolves game and finished it out...then missed the next six. "Fine" right after an injury could be adrenalin and toughness talking. How it feels to Perk *today* and tomorrow is probably a clearly reflection of his shoulder's condition.
When it happened, I thought "Oh no! Another dislocation." Then I thought, "Maybe it's only a 'stinger'." A stinger will make your whole arm go dead, but usually is completely okay a few hours (or the next day) later.
What I read today was "a slight strain"...who *knows* what (or how bad) that could be. Strained muscle? Strained ligaments? Tendon? And how "slight" is slight? I doubt anyone is going to actually tell the press exactly what, or how bad, it is, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I dunno but the fact that he didn't collide or make a rediculous grab at the ball suggests that he didn't dislocate it again, but I'm betting it'll be a few weeks before he's back in style, nice to have the break in there.
Powe and Baby on Duncan sounds flat out scary. I hope Doc doesn't put Veal on him.

Doesn't matter, its quite easy to re-dislocate shoulders, not thats what happened. Hell when Wade dislocated it last year Battier barely touched him.
