Are we being too complacent?

The prospect of acquiring Sam Cassell is quite intriguing, but in no way does it seem guaranteed at this point. Also, he doesn't give our front court anymore depth.

Does anyone else agree that we need another bigman to bolster our frontline?

I for one am going crazy watching all these teams bolster up for the playoffs and not see any even mentionings in the news about potential big men being talked to or looked at for this team. Am I the only one that is stressed out about this? We have two roster spots open, lets use them

We need a pf/c thats actually over 6'10'' for the playoffs. The window of opportunity is now, theres no more time for shoulda or couldas and watching our budget. We need to sign a big man, Magloire just went to Dallas (not that I care). Even Dale Davis is being signed by Detroit. The well is drying up. There have been no talks about PJ Brown, no rumors of any big men even being looked at. What about Jackie Butler?

We need support otherwise we aren't going to be able to hang come playoffs. I'm not talking about right now, but I'm talking about getting ready for war. Does management not believe we are going to compete for the finals? What is the rationale here?

i always prefer a full roster. im slightly concerned, but danny knows whats best for the team, and theyre just biding their time so as to make moves that matter, not just to make a move

I just don't think any of the guys available are better than Powe and Big Baby. I don't give a rats ass that they're only 6-8, they're better than a lot of 7 footers.

cassell i do hope we get, tho. i'd like to see him play alongside house in the second unit, sort of in tony allen's current role. i just hope he doesn't pout too much when he realizes that rondo is going to get his 30+ mins and that cassell is purely here for a backup role.

Will PJ Brown do?

According to PJ, Ainge has been after him all season long. So Ainge was not being complacent. Don't worry, sounds like Ainge is well aware of the situation and is doing his job.

Just the guy I wanted!!!!!!
I'm ecstatic, I was just getting nervous that there were no talks being reported. Danny is the man, quiet and confident making secret moves. I was getting nervous there, but feel much better. now lets get sam in green before the 1st at 1159
