Lakers will get swept and win by 20 at the same time? thats strange

What he meant was that the lakers Will get blown out by 20+ points every game in the finals.

I give the Celtics respect as a Lakers fan and you counter with this ridiculous statement? (which doesn't make sense by the way, I was just able to discern the meaning behind it) I hope this isn't a representation of all fans on this board.

The key to this series will be how the Lakers adjust to having Bynum/Ariza in the lineup and how Boston adjust to Cassell/Brown.

I totally agree man. How the hell can phoolishly_insane say the Lakers are gonna get SWEPT with the Celts winning by 20+ EACH game? It's more like the Celtics Sweeping the Lakers winning each game by 40 Points or more.

The Celtics give the Lakers the most problems out of any team in the NBA because how well you guys match up with us.

I am not afraid of Detroit, Mavs, and Suns as much as the Celtics and Spurs. We nearly beat Detroit at their house with Kwame freaking Brown if not for the Prince miracle at the end. The Mavs trade favors the Lakers IMO. I am pretty sure that the Suns won't get out of the first round if they have to play NO or the Jazz or any playoff team for that matter unless they play the Yao-less Rockets.

I'll be happy with that Finals matchup. I can't stand Kobe but atleast he's worth watching. Going to be hard with the Spurs, Mavericks, Suns, Jazz, and Hornets in there conference. I just can't stand to see the Cavs and Spurs in the playoffs. Its not about Lebron or Duncan but both teams are just boring to watch.

I don't know who I'd want tpo play more, the Spurs or Lakers. I hate the Lakers and Kobe more than anything, but I wold love to stick it to the Spurs for stealing Duncan from us a decade ago (would be some sort of justice)

Yeah, they should consider giving the top West teams a bye in the 1st 2 rounds so that the path to the Finals is the same as it is in the East.

On a serious note, the Lakers are one of the youngest teams in the league, so they aren't going to be "dead tired." If anything, they'll be battle-hardened.

Assuming we get to the finals - I think the Spurs would be the easier matchup. The Lakers are a nightmare - a much better team I think..
