"For the most part"?

Post#1 » by SuperDeluxe » Tue Mar 11, 2008 1:50 pm

Rivers said Scalabrine's attitude was "fantastic," and that "for the most part" the entire team was that way.

Who do you think Doc is alluding to?

Let the games begin!

Eddie "I never meet a three point shot I didn't like"House.....?

Merely speculation for him maybe getting squeezed out of the rotation.

I think you're reading too much into it.

i mean....when you say somehting like that: "for the most part"

you are obviously thinking about a specific person, you don't say for the most part, if it's everyone

I don't think it's anything big, but Eddie would be my first guess too. He always seems to have a chip on his shoulder, especially whenever questions come up about him not being a true point guard. He's probably thinking to himself, "We have the best record in the league and now I'm gonna lose my spot?"

He better keep it in check, though. But he should realize that even though his minutes might go down a bit, he's going to be in a better situation because he won't be called on to create as much. He can just roam around the 3 point line and get that shot back that's been lacking for a few weeks.

2 months ago, my guess definitely would have been Leon Powe, due to lack of minutes... now it would be Eddie House. In the past I may have said TA, I doubt it'd be him now though.

Well, I started this thread early this morning expecting to find more replies by the time I returned from work. I had envisioned one or two posts pointing the finger at each of the players on the roster (with maybe a couple of exceptions). I had even imagined that someone was going to throw Delonte West's name for good measure!

I'm clueless as to whom Doc may be referring to, but House and Big Baby were the ones that crossed my mind.

Like MalReyn said, I might have read too much into this though.

TA's been a little chippy on D lately, got a cheap "T" one game ago, but he's trying pretty hard....

Baby's scorboard clearing dive?

Rondo talks too fast, maybe that's it?

Must be Sammy. It'd be a struggle to look at that grin night after night.

The obvious suspects are young guys worried about their contracts. Evidently there was a LOT of that last season, we're now being told, even though as a group they were better guys than many.

Of course, some of those fingers could be pointing specifically at Gerald ...

House and Posey made sacrifices to come here, at least in their minds, so they're the other obvious suspects.
