Do I feel bad for Walker? Not really. The thing is everybody would have taken that contract at the time. Now that contract is a double edged sword for him.

While we are all pretty much in agreement that Walkers skills have diminished but the guy still loves to play the game so it is hard for him just to sit there and watch; which I can understand completely.

The title was meant to act as a prelude (that's why I ended with a question mark) and not to be read literally. But, after those quotes I'd found... Walker will likely speak to his agent and confer with family and friends about his immediate future. No way Walker will accept remaining on Minnesota bench and out of their plans this off season. He and agent will evoke trade talks.
