....no....
Davis has to get in peak physical condition before he's even competing with Powe for PT and he doesn't have one skill that appreciably better-not rebounding, shooting, FTs, post game, defense...Davis has a better passing eye and is marginally better dribbling, but none of the bread-and-butter things they'll be required to do in the league are much different and Powe is more explosive athletically...
the overachiever"" is one of the top 10 subs off the bench in the league since becoming the first big off the bench...that's not something easily accomplished...
baby has several skills that are appreciably better than my man leon
i get that you love powe............i do too, but come on
the only time powe puts the ball on the floor is when he is trying to back his man down----baby can handle in the open floor with or w/o pressure, or drive to the basket.................................but why this is such an important skill is that baby is an excellent facilitator
no way babys handle is only marginally better, and he is able to draw defenders and dish
baby's size gives him a huge advantage over powe; esp defensively-----------baby more than held his own against duncan, and will get his shot off against guys in the paint more often than powe b/c of the space his mammoth body creates
kg and paul are both over achievers, that is a wonderful thing to be an over achiever
i hear you on the jumpers and conditioning, but baby has more game plain and simple
