There are no Greg Odens or Kevin Durants this year.

There may be no Greg Oden , but Michael Beasley is every bit of Kevin Durant. This draft is also deeper at the top than last year's as it was the Oden and Durant then a huge drop-off. Still I can see your point.

Beasley and Rose's hype machine haven't done their jobs.

OJ Mayo didn't keep the hype going.

Typical, even when the Celtics get screwed, we get screwed getting screwed.

And then we got KG :)

good point about Miami tanking and no one giving them crap about it. Heck their coach goes off for a few weeks to scout college players and then openly talks to the media about how they're just playing out the string and that it " will soon be over" and no one says Boo. they even elect Riley to the Hall of Fame!!! What Hallof Famer do you know that ever quit on his team and quit on the season? what a joke. The lottery is completely F'd up but that is a whole other post.

Back to last night's game. I didn't know whether to sh-t or go blind. I'm happy we won but I'm not sure we learned anything and I'm not sure it really helps us. How does playing 5 guys who SHOULD NEVER be on the court at the same time during the playoffs help us get ready for the playoffs? wouldn't it have been better to give the bench players more minutes playing with some of the regulars? Plus, not that it matters but those guys ( the bench) will be dead tonight so you have to play your starters more tongiht. the end result is 2 games with screwed up rotations. Wouldn't it have been better to play pierce, garnett and allen 26 minutes each and the bench a little less and get an easy victory? YOur big 3 still would have gotten rest and the bench would have gotten more minutes. Last night was a horror show of turnovers and bad decisions. Tony allen running at redd instead of playing him straight up was just mind blowing. Why didn't DOc foul? TA was beaten twice by Redd off inbounds plays and he is our best defender? 7 turnovers by Baby? Look I love the kid but he needs to drop 30 lbs and get some hops or he will be eating basketball sandwiches the rest of his career. That might have been his worst game of the year. HOuse was 1-8 with 4 turnovers. I thought he stank it up. Of course the one shot he hit was the game winner. Where was Pruitt or HUnter? they couldn't have been any worse than House or Pruitt. I dunno- to me the damage to the confidence of the second unit in losing a 20 point lead offsets whatever boost they got from winning the game. that unit has continually struggled to score and has given up leads tme and again. If DOc plays all 5 of these guys together in the playoffs we will get killed. that's why when you boil it all down I don't agree with what he's doing.

I appreciate the rant even though I didn't watch most of 4th quarter and over time. I had to pick up a friend at Logan.

However, Doc is NEVER going to play those 5 together in the playoffs unless we're blowing out Atlanta in the first round. It's great that we have a team that is 10-11 players deep but I see the rotation shortening up a bit in the playoffs. Baby will not be playing that much and we probably see more Sam and PJ. I wouldn't worry too much about this Red2, we should be good.

I have zero problem with what Doc did. I wish that Doc would only play KG, PP and Allen around 15 min a game until the play-offs start. That should mimimize their risk of injury as well as prevent them from getting too rusty.

C's have homecourt thoughout and as far as I am concerned these last few games are nothing but exhibition games.
