You are my hero Calder!

Do it again for the next game, assuming we lose one in ATL.

That's pretty awesome. The whole audience chanting "Rondo's Better!" and it originated from CalderCup. Crazy.

Word, good ish everybody. No fairweather fans around here.

A couple of other things:

I had no idea they were going to quote us for an article. In fact, I didn't even realize that the interaction we had with the reporter (Julian Benbow) was going to lead to anything more than maybe a picture online. Nor did I even realize that I was talking to who would be the eventual author of said article.

He asked us our names and where we were from, and then started asking us some random questions, but I sort of zoned him out because the game was going on and I had heckling to do. Seemed like a nice guy though.

If I had known he was gonna write an article, I would have talked his ear off. The one thing I did say to him, but he didn't use was: "He [Bibby] gave us a reason to care about an otherwise meaningless series."

Anyways, I thought the write-up was a good read, mostly well worded. My favorite part was how he ended the piece:

Weigner and Akin are sure Bibby saw their sign during the introductions. They had a flipside for the fourth quarter that said, "Fairweather like your game."

You have to wonder whether Bibby saw the small print. A salute to the fans in Atlanta.

It said, "Game 3 seats still available"

My only regret of the entire night was neglecting to bring a camera. I missed out on some great shots, including a potential gif of Michael Bivins grooving to girl is poison... damn!

Haha that's sick man. Anyone recorded the game on Tivo or something? Cut the clip with him on it ;]

Like, two seasons ago when Lebron came to town, my friends say near Tommy, and they had this poster that said "KING WHO?" and I was watching it on FSN when they showed it and Tommy said "Haha, there are some fans here behind me, and LeBron notices them." And I had a ticket to it and didnt go. Haha.

Dude you're totally right, I forgot hackysack and ultimate frisbee. I love how hippies get all pissed when you make fun of those (and to be fair, me and my buddies used to play a lot of ultimate but none of us were hippies and to us it was just another form of football with slightly different rules)

Ok, so FOUR sports hippies like...hackie, ultimate, avoiding bathing, and drugs. FIXED
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I don't trust anyone that says they hate hippies. That's like hating puppies or cupcakes. You my friend, are a scary character. ;)

...not to mention that the hippies were (and are) right about everything:

War is futile and horrible, and all efforts for peace should be sought.

The human race has to stop destroying the Earth and learn to live without polluting it or the consequences will be disastrous.

Don't even get me started, since we're here to talk hoops, but wrong wrong wrong. Right on the issue (war is bad) but sometimes it is not only not wrong, it's right and justified.
