The calls favored the Kawks way too much, I really disliked this Atlanter team before the playoffs, now I cannot stand looking at any of their players on TV. Get this team outta the playoffs.

I gambled on us and I lost all of my fingernails because of that bad officiating. We had em by 30.

Yep, if it wasn't for the refs we could have rested the starters more in the 4th.

Did you watch the game? The refs were completely ridiculous. You know what? I am whining, win or lose, because the NBA refs suck a big fat dick. It seldom seems as if both teams are being called the same end to end, and I don't always mean in the opponents favor either. Combine the inconsistency from game to game, even quarter to quarter, with the superstar favoritism and the rookie whistle abuse, and you basically end up with a big steaming pile of ****.

Maybe Big Baby should start charging hard. It is not even a flagant foul.

I agree re the bad calls... particulalry from that young ref who called the flagrant on posey. he made several bad calls. I think that when a team is a clear favorite like the celts and has won a lot of games that refs try to even the playing field. I'm not sure it is a conscious effort to do so but I've seen it happen to us enough this year that I believe it's true. The other thing about our team is that we talk a lot of smack and as a result we're not at all sympathetic to the refs. they humans too and if they think we're cocky etc they're not going to give us calls. Bibby play acted his way into at least 3 fouls which were ticky tacky meaningless contact at best. On the other end Pierce is getting hacked everytime he goes to the hoop with no call. On the break away that Baby had, Bibby cleared grabbed his arm. It should have been an And One but because we were up, because Glen is a rookie and because he is bigger than bibby there was no call.

GreenGrizz:

Didn't Bigbaby land on Smith towards the end of the game? He did run over one of the Hawks.

He did land on Smith, but Baby tried not to land full on and pulled himself up, unlike Smith who purposely rolled over Pierce trying to hurt him

Ah, it's all over anyway...

If it wasn't for the Refs favoring the Hawks, we might have won by 50... they were just evening the playing field.

So annoying though...it made the game a grind the last 5 minutes or so.

Remember those 1980s games between the C's and either 76ers or Pistons where the refs would put their whistles away and let them play, bodies flying everywhere...THOSE were the days!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
