So I guess House and Tony are out of the rotation?

Should House and TA be playing more?

With our team it's all about match ups....the bench it's match ups. If we get thru to the next series the match up's might be different, if something in the remaining games go bad the plan might change where TA and House might come in more. Remember match ups..we have sooo many....Danny's plan. 8)

Are these guys really gonna complain about not getting minutes when the team wins by 20 in the playoffs?

In their defense, they were key contributors to a 66 win team. So I don't know.

Bleeding Green wrote:They don't have much of a role in a series like this. Wait until the Celtics play some team with a tough perimeter player or need a shooter on the floor. Neither is necessary when you can sleepwalk through the game and play PJ Brown and still win by 20. If they play the Cavs, Tony should get a few more minutes guarding LeBron. House, I don't know.

This.

House and Allen will got a lot more minutes against either Washington or Cleveland. TA would be crucial against guarding someone like Arenas.

Cassell also single handledly beat the Hawks before the playoffs started.

Sam hasn't got much run but right now where in a situation where Sam's lack of defense can't really hurt us. He has proven that against the Hawks he can score while being more reliable with the ball then House.

If we play CLE we may see House time against West because House can stay in front of West more easiely then Cassell.

If we play WAS we may see some Tony in order to slow down the penetration of a Arenas or Stevenson. ALSO, Doc likes his small balls so he may adjust to the Wizards and sub Posey in for Perk/KG to cover Jamison and use Tony to cover Butler due to the strenght Butler has.

Right now though, both are that 9th man option in the playoffs and against the Hawks it doesn't look like we need either of them. But they could find themselfs with 10 minutes in some games with future series.

Not to mention if Billups does real well against Cassell constantly penetrating and using his strenght advantage... these two might see a lot more.

No. I've been claiming this for a while. I still root for him though.

Well, Tony is probably my second favorite Celtic, so I like to see him play. I guess I care more about the defensive end than I do the offensive flashy stuff.

I can't understand why Doc hasn't had a talk with House and Allen, but now that it's in the paper, I hope he will. Maybe he's just been too busy with game-planning to think about it. It doesn't seem like there is anything House or Allen can do to get back into the rotation either...
