If we get to the Finals, the maximum amount of games is 28 (if all series go to seven games). I don't think that our big three will be THAT tired. They're used to playing a lot and have been resting the whole season.

They've been resting to play in the playoffs. Let's not forget that.

Wow, no offense really to the OP, but this thread subject is an epic fail. For so many reasons, but they've already been mentioned.

The outcome couldn't have been any worse.

Well, Sam played well at home, but he was absolutely atrocious in game 3. Doc really needs to have a shorter leash on him and I'm not sure why Eddie House is not playing at all, except that BS few minutes at the end of game 3. He was playing better than Cassell, so I'm afraid Doc's being coaxed into playing Sam.

As I've said from the beginning, if Sam can play 10~15 min a game within team concept and his shots come off ball movements, I'm fine, but if his ego is causing him to shoot all those shots, then he needs to be deactivated, so Doc isn't tempted to put him in the game.

I agree, Sam was pissing me off the no end with all of those shots jacked up with 2 guys in his face and 20 second left on the "shot clock". And I also agree Eddie House needs to play more...that was still a very winnable game up to the end.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

And did you notice how we went on a little run, immediately after Sam was taken out?

Yup

He's at the point now where his little bursts in 5 minutes at a time are great, but extended stretches are death.

Plus, as he himself said in a sideline interview before halftime in game 2 he's there to score and not to do anything on the defensive end!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
