The losses were good for 1 thing...

Post#1 » by BillessuR6 » Tue Apr 29, 2008 7:45 pm

...the traffic on this board skyrocketed.

I haven`t seen this many new threads and posts in a day since the KG trade, probably.

Let`s hope after tomorrow this board goes back to sleep...that would indicate we are doing OK...

Speaking of which, did anyone get Mike Bibby's opinion on all the bandwagon Hawks fans there last night? Funny, but I don't remember the building being like that when they were losing.

Has Bibby called out their fans for being fair weather fans yetl?

The Celtic fans at the Garden need to step the **** up and get louder. So far, the Hawks fans have been louder than our fans.

Since when the Celtic fans become laid back at playoff games.

Having the Boston board trolls come out of their year long slumber is not a good thing.

As for the fans at the Garden, it's not even a matter of getting loud, we need to get in their heads and under their skin. Time to get viscious.

Who cares what the Hawks fans do. All I know is that they were louder than our fans.

Our fans need to get loud and crazy and become the 6th man out there.

Guess I am a bandwagoner then since I was at both games here in Atlanta. Of course, I was also at about 25 other games this year since I have season tickets. And last year I made it to around 30 games now that I think about it. Wait, the year before that I went to about 30 games too. Hmmm, I must be a bandwagoner.

The truth is that most people go to games based on who Atlanta is playing. Some of those fans are cheering for the other team while others just want to see a good opposing team play in general. We have had a few sellouts this year and there were plenty of times when the crowd was loud and rowdy during a close game.

With that being said there are fairweather fans here just like any place else. Boston has it's own fairweather fans too and if you don't believe that then you are kidding yourself.

The Celtics fans were just as loud as The Hawks fans at the beginning of games 1 and 2, but we got such a big lead in the 2nd half that the volume went down because of it. I don't mind the volume if we are going to blow them out.

Agreed. I prefer us blowing a team out to a close game any day
