Really? So Horford (rookie), Smith (unproven but talented), Bibby (overrated and old), Joe Johnson (legit star) and Marvin Williams (inconsistent young player) are better than KG (multiple All-Star, played in WCF), Ray Allen (one of the best shooters ever, multiple All-Star), Rondo (super-talented top-5 PG in NBA), Pierce (multiple All-Star, played in ECF), and Perkins (well, you got me here)

Really?
C's in 6, biatches!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

It's a nice thought, and I agree that Boston has a better starting five than Atlanta, but there is no way that Rondo is a top 5 PG in the NBA.

Just to name five that are clearly better: Paul, Williams, Nash, Davis, Parker

Agreed. But He's looking pretty good when considering his future hopes of making it there.
Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

So much for Hawks winning in 6. Dick and Bush and CHL are classic. Get a friggen clue you two. Why even be a fan if you can never enjoy your team?

You thought those guys were fans? <g> Learn something about message boards. Why do you think this board is so much busier when we the C's suck?

They are self-loathing fans. They're the Democrats of messageboards.

I agree, where are curm, malle, aguila...bring them all back (NOT!)

I try not to judge books by their cover... but I couldn't agree less with your avatar, and, as it turns out, I can't agree less with any point you made in this entire thread.

You should.

Rondo's a top 15 starting PG (average).

If Rondo could have a streaky 3 or a consistent free throw shooting, or a reliable move or two from mid-range he'd be higher.

I think you've hit the theme of what Celtics fans are feeling even with a Game 6 win. Atlanta is not very good - so if Boston has had their problems against them....what chance to they really have to win it all? After all they will face better teams the rest of the way.
I think the thing to remember is that sweeps are not the norm for this time of year - even #1-#8 matchups. The Celtics need to improve on certain things and if they do that, there will be little referencing the Atlanta series if they correct them even if this series went 7 games. Nobody cares anymore that Philly was actually ahead of Detroit - it's old news. Had the Celtics not melted down in the 4th quarter of Game 4, this series would be old news. They play a full 48 minutes tonight, they'll win and their heads will be back on straight.

That's a shame. Parker just outplayed 2-time MVP Steve Nash in a best of 7 series and has a finals MVP. It'd be amazing if Rondo became that good. Rondo is a top 15 NBA PG imo, a homer could put him in the top 10. A skeptic could easily argue that he is not top 15 at this point in his career.
