DEAR ATLANTA,

Post#1 » by grantlongforpresident » Sat May 3, 2008 1:16 pm

WE ARE GOING TO CRUSH YOU.

You think you have a nice team? 37 wins. What a Joke.

Atlanta Fans: Where were you when you sucked the last decade (or even this year)? Horraaay, people are actually watching the Hawks! How cute!

Dear Al Horford and Mike Bibby among others,
I love hearing smack talk from guys on a team that didn't even have a winning record. Good luck winning a game where it is even remotely a level playing field. These ref's have been hugely biased during those three Celtic losses. We would slaughter you on a neutral court.

Whatever, i'd be uninspired too if i was playing such a crappy team in such a crappy city where everytime someone trips it is a foul.

Have fun with another 1st round exit.

And if a Mod locks this: YOU ARE A TRAITOR!

Even if you are right the Celtics will have proved nothing except they can get out of the first round....hardly chest thumping material.

And if the Celts are as good as they once thought they were and many of my fellow fans think, they are then they would be out of the first round already.

Talking smack about a 7th game with an 8th seed team made of kids and a vet point guard that does not play defense is preposterous.

Crowing after one wins is classless but crowing beforehand is both dumb and arrogant.

I'm not going to lock this, but I'm going to guess it will have a short life. It is not a very intelligent thing to say given our team just got punked....again.

The Hawks are like a gnat on the sack of Godzilla.

We won't get tested at home until Detroit/Orlando. Hawks are a Joke and the Cav's are mediocre.

Classic thread. Celtics loose rather horribly to a 37 win team 3 of 4 games yet you say the Cavs are mediocre. At least they can win on the road which is something every play-off team has done beside the mighty 66 win celtics.

The is game is by no means a given. Hawks could easily upset the Celtics.

edit. Your also not giving the hawks enough credit. Think about it: they are playing a game 7 against the team with the NBA's best team record wise.

Yes, but will this Godzilla be composed enough to flick it away or continue the panicked approach they've been showing and scorch off their own nads.

can we please lock this? it is embarrasing as celtic fan and it does nothing but make us look more ridic then we already do!! The c's suck right now and that is not saying they wont pull it out tommorow, but as it stands right now, we have no buisness making fun of ATL. They have done what we were supposed to do... They have won the big games when they needed to and backed up their talking. We have faltered and imo do not deserve to be given a free pass. The c's have shown the maturiy, integrity and intensity of a 37 win team while aTL has shown the aggresiveness, competiveness and determination of a 66 win team..

I find it ironic that Celtic fans are calling other fans bandwagoners. Just last year in Boston we heard MVP chants for Kobe bryant and the Celtic pride was nowhere to be seen.

And what makes you think that 100 brainless Bostonians represent the whole fanbase?
