On a night where Pierce and Ray disappeared on offense, Posey became our PP, and Sammy became our Ray.

James clanks game-winner 2.0

LeBron James blows yet another lay-up at the end of a close game. James missed a last-second shot in Game 5 of the first round against Washington.

Very fortunate to win this game despite horrific nights on offense from Pierce and Ray Allen and a terrible all around game from Ray.

KG had a monster game, Ray and PP didn't show up but luckily we had contributions from Posey and Cassell. That was easily the best defensive game we've had in the playoffs. I think Pierce's defense is being overlooked because he didn't have a great offensive night, but he did an excellent job on Lebron alone with Posey.

It was one of the ugliest games I can remember! Both teams missed some good shots. DWest and LBJ played good D, but their guns were not firing! I am not gonna comment of the Celtics coaching atm. I expect the future games to be much different, so I dont know what to place on this game.

1-0 is all that matters in the end. Hopefully we look better overall, but I am proud of our guys closing out a close one and KG showing no fear.

i am glad kg had a good game it was entertaining to watch. this is what kg has done his whole career at minnesota.. i have seen many games where the offense goes cold and kg takes over. i am glad its a lot more productive now. If ray and pp get back in rhythm i predict a easy series win.

also i notice if rondo is playing well you guys do well. but the bad thing is if not playing well he makes the rest of the team play bad. i think rondo doesnt know real well how to get garnett the ball. you have to know when he is open and if he is kg can execute. but if you force him the ball and tell him to score off dribble or post up he probably is 50% or lower field goal percentage. if he is open and demanding it the numbers go way up

That is a good way of looking at it. The stars didn't do it so the subs did. Man I'm worried about Ray Allen. Is he ok? I think him and Paul are hurting physically. Real bad.

Yeah I know. If they're playing hurt just so the team doesn't lose confidence with their presence, major props to them. I hope they're not hurt though.

Ray won't go to the basket anymore. Paul only does it when he misses 5 jumpers in a row. I'm telling you IF we consistently go to the basket we will win handedly.

Fugly game, but a win is a win. I'm already sick of the Hawks being brought up every other minute by Stockton. Hopefully we can get someone in over the offseason that's capable of drawing contact, because Pierce and Rondo can't be relied on exclusively the way they've been so far (especially Paul, who forced too many jumpshots tonight).

I miss Mike and Tommy.
