Such as? I thought they called it pretty even except for that ridiculous "flagrant" on LeBron by Cassell and the non-flagrant call when Z kneed Cassell in the noggin.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

The worst part of that flagrant was LeBron's fake snapping his head back and pretending to get it in the mouth. Ridiculous.

BTW I'm waiting for tombattor to appear and make fun of us for "whining" about the reffing since we won

I'm 30, and been following the league for 25 years so I'm probably noticing more, but it does seem the NBA has become the NPA=National Pansy Association. They are so afraid of contact they call ticky-tack fouls on nearly every **** possession...there is no FLOW to games anymore.

Ok, we're about the same. I just turned 31 and I, too, got into the Celtics during their glory years in the early-mid 80s, as a child living in Cambridge.

So I think that's probably what it is. Because when you're younger, even when you're in college, you still can't notice the nuances and minor details, as much as you can as an adult.

Yeah, that was a horrible call. But whatever. If that happened to Pierce, I'd gladly take the flagrant FTs. Besides, as you said, we won, so who cares?

Stop whining!

Exactly. I understand that we won, so why bother. Still, just the principle of the refs falling for LeBron's acting job irks me. I get steamed even when I watch teams I don't care about (like that Orl-Det game) when huge calls get blown. There's no excuse for it.

Ahh well, all I care about now is game 2!!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
