Yeah, Lebron is a tough match up for Pierce...although he is a warrior and will compete, Lebron will have the better of the match up a majority of the time.
So, when is last time Ray Allen lit up Wally? We got to win that match up if we are to take this series...
Edit: I am not a fan of too manu iso plays, but a 1-4 set letting Ray take Wally off the dribble wouldn't be a terrible idea. Or atleast, run Ray off series of picks and get him the ball elbow extended on a curl (like Rip Hamilton does in Detroit)
Pierce hasn't had a big game against LeBron/Cavs in years

I wonder why LeBron bothers Pierce's offense, though? LeBron's a pretty bad defender. I can see Pierce struggling to defend Bron, but not the other way around...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

That's not true. LeBron is actually a pretty capable defender, and when he commits to it, can be very good. And at 6'8, 250 and with his speed and quickness, Pierce doesn't have either the size or quickness advantage over LeBron, so he's often forced into shots he'd rather not take.

I'm not sure Ray can even drive by Wally anymore. In fact I think Doc should consider giving Tony some run. If there is a guy who should terrify Wally its Tony and his reckless forays to the hoop..

While Pierce hasn't played well against the Cav's I don't think Lebron has had a damn thing to do with it. His worst game Lebron didn't even play.
I think that going against Lebron in practice and having him as a teamate makes the Cav's very well prepared to defend Paul. Make him a jump shooter and force him to play East to West on the perimeter. Of course that puts KG one on one in the post and leaves Ray Allen (who was avg 24 a game against the Cavs this season - but apparently he is worse than Wally) open looks.
The real problem with looking at individual stat performances and relating it to playing a good game is that it has not correlated to wins. Pierce went for 19 on 53% and 2 to's and Ray scored 24 on 60% shooting and we lost. The "experts" have been saying all day how Boston is going to have to push the ball to win this series. While that will make it easier for Lebron to score it will tire out their bigs. The results say just the opposite we have now won 3 ugly ass wrestling matches against Lebron and Co and lossed two high octane matchups.
I don't give a damn if Pierce doesn't crack 10 points or Ray scores again in this series if we win 3 more games.
