I would agree, but if Doc is going to use Ray Allen the way he's been using him this season, then Miller is alot better at that role than Allen. Darko isn't an upgrade at all over Perkins, He's bigger and thats about it, even then Perkins' mean streak (Darko lacks one) makes up for the difference in size. Lowry is solid but considering the situations I don't think he's as good as Pruitt.

I think Chicago gets stiffed in that second trade and while they have the depth I don't see Denver giving up Nene for a shaky PG like Hinrich has become.

Weird, that looks like a lopsidedly great deal for Chicago. Sure they get older, but they trade an overrated Hinrich and get Ray freaking Allen in return?

I think an off game has everyone down on Ray. If he got traded somewhere where he was the man, his numbers would be up again. I see no reason to trade a great player like Ray for a pretty good player like Miller and turn the big 3 into big 2 and a few more role players. Might as well trade Ray back for Wally and Delonte (but leave the pick in Seattle.)

it's a tremendous trade talent wise for us

but i don't know how kg and pierce would react and you don't want those guys mad

and i don't see how these helps memphis at all outside of dumping darko's contract.

Honestly, I think Kirk Hinrich is underrated right now. The entire Bulls team had an off year, and may have been tanking on some level. If the Bulls do sign D'Antoni, I think Hinrich becomes known as one of the league's best PGs next season.

Why for Portland they had a very impressive run earlier this season and with Oden joining Roy/Aldridge they need vet leaders on the team not more rookies...Ray Allen could make them a playoff team next year.

And for Boston they get pick #13 and a few good pieces.

I'm reluctant to trade Ray. Our team currently has good chemistry. Though, trhat last proposal gives us a couple solid role players, a decent back-up PG for time to come, and possibly ensures that we can draft Brandon Rush. I wouldn't mind that, especially if we could keep our pick or get Portland's 2nd round pick

Are you all insane? ENJOY the playoffs!!! Let Memphis fans dream up insane dreams. We got our two insane dreams of the decade last summer, for KG and Ray. We'll use our draft pick on a slashing PG or center and go from there.
