Ray has to start playing to his abilities and make things happen. Again - maybe get an offensive rebound, maybe try drawing a foul, maybe outplay Wally.

You can't expect him not to start trending down at his age. He had double ankle surgery. He is going to be 33 this summer. It would be rare for him to have his best years. He is going to dip. It's just of matter of how much each year. Personally I think it will be very gradual on the offensive end since he is such a great shooter. Defense on the other hand is a different story. Thats where my biggest fear is.

Ummmm, no. Thats what's so great about having all three together. I'm just saying they are at the point in their careers where they are going to start trending downward. That's just a fact. It's a matter of how much they dip each year. But if you are expecting NO slippage over the course of the next two years you are unrealistic. That does not mean I don't expect the Celtics to be great in the next couple of years. Rondo/Perkins/Powe all will grow in the next few years. Pruitt/Davis also have upside that may be seen.

^^They could also plateau and play at this same level another 1-3 seasons before the inevitable decline. Some guys don't fall off a cliff, they just stay constant in the later years of their careers. That'd be my guess with these guys. But with age comes wisdom...they are also very SMART players and as such will find a way to counteract any diminishing physical skills with brains.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

One thing is to be the ONE who makes your team win, play every **** night 40+ minutes for 82 games, another is to play 30 min per game in blowouts... Their stat have still dropped because they were just not stressing themselves in the regular season, I think they can all play another 4 years without dropping...

Ray is going to be 33 this summer. At 37 there is no way he will not have lost something from his game. That's not being harsh on Ray, its just the life cycle of an athlete. Of course there is always HGH ;)

And as you age you are more prone to injury. So durability will become more of an issue.
