Did yuo think he can play backup PG? Why did Boston not renewed his contract?

Because he kinda wasn't necessary. And he got more money to play in Italy and he just put up a decent season there. He signed a 2-year, 2 million dollar contract; I think he'll get another look in the NBA when his contract is up after next year.

I wouldn't want him to be a backup PG, though. Strictly a shooting guard.

If he can't play PG doesn't matter, I just feel whe have not enough shoot from our Pg and if you have to put in Cassel when you need points you damage the team flow.
